MAPFRE Sets Aside €25M for Insurtech Investments

MAPFRE is investing €25m in venture capital fund Alma Mundi Insurtech Fund.

This new fund, registered with the CNMV as Alma Mundi Insurtech Fund European Venture Capital Fund, is managed by Mundi Ventures. The investments will focus on the insurance sector, specifically on AI and Big Data. Investments will be made mainly in Europe and Israel.

The objective for MAPFRE is double, on the one hand, the contribution to the group’s business, and on the other, obtaining financial return on its investments.
