Arch appoints Giacomo Mariani to lead Italy branch

Arch Insurance EU has appointed Giacomo Mariani as Italy Branch Manager, subject to regulatory approval, following the recent opening of its Milan office.

Mariani will oversee daily operations, business development and broker engagement for the Italian branch. He joins from Everest, where he was Head of Italy, and previously held leadership roles at Aon and Zurich. He has more than 14 years of experience in the Italian insurance market.

The Milan office writes accident and health, cargo and logistics, fine art and specie, general liability, and property business. Arch Insurance EU, based in Dublin, also has branches in France, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK.
