Exzeo launches AI venture division
Exzeo has launched Exzeo Ventures, a new division focused on building AI-native products, services, and businesses, primarily around insurance.
Rather than using AI simply to automate existing workflows, Exzeo Ventures will look for opportunities and business models that the company believes weren’t economically or technologically feasible before AI.
Initial areas of focus include agentic AI for catastrophe claims, next-generation underwriting and risk transfer solutions, distribution automation, and other AI-enabled insurance products and business models.
The division will primarily develop initiatives internally, drawing on Exzeo’s existing insurance and technology capabilities.
“Exzeo Ventures isn’t simply about applying AI to existing processes. It’s about identifying opportunities that previously couldn’t exist because the technology or economics weren’t there. AI is fundamentally changing what’s possible, and we believe the companies that create the greatest long-term value build entirely new businesses and not just more efficient versions of existing ones.” – Exzeo CEO Paresh Patel.
Exzeo, which went public in 2025, provides technology and services to P&C insurers through its Insurance-as-a-Service platform, with a particular focus on homeowners insurance.
