Nauto partners with Auto Fleet Control

Nauto has partnered with Auto Fleet Control to bring its AI-powered driver safety technology to commercial fleets across Germany.

The partnership combines Nauto’s dashcam-based safety platform with AFC’s claims and risk management services and insurance coverage from Zurich Versicherung. The solution will be integrated into AFC PRIME, which combines claims management, risk management and fleet insurance.

Nauto’s platform analyzes driver behavior and road conditions to detect risks including distracted driving, fatigue, tailgating, harsh braking and potential collisions. It provides drivers with real-time alerts and coaching intended to prevent accidents.

AFC serves more than 300 customers and manages risks and claims involving over 100,000 vehicles and drivers. The combined solution is initially being deployed by mobile automotive glass services provider nobleglass across its fleet of approximately 130 vehicles.

AFC estimates that participating fleets could reduce accident rates by up to 20%–30%. Data collected through the platform may also support insurance pricing based on actual fleet behavior.
