Farmers introduces simpler coverage tools and refreshed brand

Farmers is rolling out new tools and communications designed to make its insurance policies easier for consumers to understand and compare.

The insurer introduced Farmers Coverage on a Page, a summary available with select auto and home policies that outlines what is and is not covered. It is also offering complimentary Farmers Coverage Review sessions, during which representatives can review a consumer’s existing coverage—even if it is issued by another insurer—and identify potential changes or savings. Representatives may also help consumers explore options from other carriers when Farmers is not a fit.

Alongside the coverage tools, Farmers is refreshing its visual identity with simplified layouts, new typography, a high-contrast color palette, and a distinctive pink color. The updated branding will begin appearing nationally on July 13 across advertising, digital platforms, and customer communications.

“The strategy is grounded in a simple belief: our customers’ insurance coverage should be easy to understand, with no jargon, no big words, and no lawyer needed to make sense of it. Farmers is introducing tools that help make insurance easier to navigate—highlighting what is and is not covered, offering coverage reviews even if your policy is with another insurer, and, in some cases, helping consumers explore alternatives when Farmers isn’t a fit for them.” – Eleanor Solomon, Head of Creative for Farmers Insurance.

Bottom Line: Covered first here.
