TCS to deploy Claude across insurance, banking, and healthcare

Anthropic has partnered with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to expand the use of Claude across regulated industries, including insurance, financial services, healthcare, and the public sector.

Under the agreement, TCS will roll out Claude to 50,000 employees across 56 countries and launch a dedicated practice focused on designing, implementing, and managing Claude-based systems for enterprise clients. The company also plans to develop industry-specific solutions powered by Claude, including claims processing applications for insurers and lending advisory tools for banks.

As part of the partnership, Diligenta , TCS’s UK life and pensions business, will use Claude to enhance the customer experience for the more than 22 million policyholders it serves. TCS also plans to develop reusable capabilities for the Claude Code ecosystem, beginning with claims adjudication and lending advisory applications.

TCS has also joined Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network, which connects consulting and services firms with enterprise customers seeking to adopt Claude.

“Enterprise AI value comes from understanding business context, orchestrating complex systems, and applying deep AI engineering talent. By combining Claude with our industry expertise, engineering rigor, and large-scale transformation capabilities, we will help customers move faster to production—especially in industries where trust, resilience, and regulatory discipline are critical. This partnership reflects TCS’s broader strategy to help clients become perpetually adaptive enterprises by turning frontier AI into transformation at enterprise scale.” – K. Krithivasan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of TCS.
