Anthropic hires Monica Shokrai to lead business risk and insurance

Anthropic  has appointed Monica Shokrai as head of business risk and insurance.

Shokrai joins after nearly eight years at Google, where she led business risk and insurance for Google Cloud and headed actuarial, analytics and systems for Alphabet’s insurance team. She previously spent almost five years at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance in actuarial and global pricing roles.

At Anthropic, Shokrai will oversee risk management and insurance and work with insurers on coverage designed for AI-related risks.
