Trucordia acquires Hecht-Stout Insurance Agency

Trucordia announced the acquisition of the assets of Hecht-Stout Insurance Agency, an Illinois-based commercial insurance agency serving clients in the Peoria area.

Founded decades ago and led by owner Gregory Gerontes since 2008, Hecht-Stout specializes in helping commercial clients navigate complex insurance decisions. Gerontes joined the agency more than 30 years ago and worked alongside former owner Hiles Stout before assuming ownership.

Trucordia, headquartered in Lindon, Utah, is a top 20 U.S. insurance brokerage with more than 5,000 employees nationwide. The company offers commercial and personal lines, employee benefits, and life and health insurance solutions through its network of businesses.
