Launched in September 2025, Waypoint is positioned as a specialist legal protection product for boat owners, covering areas such as uninsured loss recovery, personal injury claims, contract disputes, criminal defense, and identity fraud. The product also includes 24/7 access to legal and medical helplines, signaling a service-heavy approach rather than a basic add-on.

The partnership reflects growing demand for legal expenses coverage in marine, where Addept points to reduced capacity and narrowing coverage options across the market. By plugging into Pantaenius UK’s yacht insurance base, the company is effectively embedding Waypoint as an add-on product within an established distribution channel.
