Gallagher acquires UK broker Bridge Insurance Brokers

Gallagher has acquired Bridge Insurance Brokers , a Manchester- and London-based commercial broker. Terms were not disclosed.

Bridge focuses on commercial lines, with expertise in real estate, construction, corporate, and private client insurance, primarily serving UK clients with some international exposure. The leadership team, including Roger Potts, Alex Cohen, and Andre Backner, will remain in place and continue operating from existing offices.

For Gallagher, the deal adds depth to its UK retail platform, particularly in real estate and construction, and continues its strategy of scaling specialty capabilities through tuck-in acquisitions.
