Rokstone launches Klik to target digital economy liability risks
Specialist MGA Rokstone Underwriting has introduced Rokstone Klik, a new division focused on liability risks tied to digital platforms, advanced mobility, and the sharing economy. The initial focus is the US, with plans to expand internationally.
The unit will cover exposures such as embedded insurance, usage based auto liability, platform liability, and multi party risk structures. These risks are growing across sectors like autonomous vehicles, electric fleets, and digital marketplaces.
Andrew Cooper, formerly at Pantheon and Aon, will lead the division. He is joined by Matt Higgins from Apollo’s iBott platform as Rokstone builds underwriting capabilities in these areas.
Klik will use Rokstone’s ATOMX data platform to improve pricing and risk selection. The system converts unstructured loss data into usable underwriting insights.
The division launches with capacity backed by Lloyd’s of London and an A rated carrier. It targets complex risks where some insurers have pulled back due to regulatory uncertainty and limited historical data.
