iSure launches Excess Layers PI facility for Solicitors

iSure, a sister company to Rokstone Underwriting , has introduced a new Solicitors Excess Layers Professional Indemnity facility, backed by A-rated capacity from Great American. The product targets firms with up to €10 million in fee income, offering limits up to €5 million and attachments starting at €1.5 million.

Designed for a softening PI market, the facility focuses on speed and flexibility, allowing brokers to place excess layers using the primary proposal form or renewal declaration, supported by per-million pricing. iSure highlights tailored policy wording for solicitors, broader appetite, and faster turnaround times as key differentiators, alongside competitive commissions.

The move expands iSure’s PI portfolio and aims to grow the insurer’s position in Ireland’s commercial market by offering brokers a more responsive excess solution.
