Vitality partners with Boots to expand weight loss access

Vitality has partnered with Boots UK to offer members discounted access to healthcare services, starting with the Boots Online Doctor Weight Loss Service.

From spring, eligible members can receive up to 25% off the program, with discounts tied to Vitality’s status-based rewards system. The service combines medication with clinical support, including coaching, progress tracking, and a 12-month aftercare program.

The partnership reflects growing demand for primary care and weight management services, with Vitality citing internal research showing strong interest in weight loss medication among members. It also points to a broader push by insurers to extend beyond traditional coverage and integrate preventative care with everyday health services.

Boots will provide access through its digital platform and nationwide footprint, with plans to expand the offering to additional health and wellness services over time.
