Arch Australia appoints underwriting manager

Arch Insurance Australia (Arch) announced the appointment of Andrew Whitlock as Northern Region Casualty Underwriting Manager, effective immediately.

In this role, Whitlock is responsible for overseeing the underwriting activities and broker relationships to drive growth across the northern region Casualty portfolio, spanning New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory and Queensland. Based in Sydney, he reports to Michelle Armstrong, Casualty Underwriting Manager.

Whitlock joins Arch from Chubb where he was most recently the Casualty Segment Leader, Major Accounts Division in Australia. He has also previously held broking roles at Brown & Brown in London.
