Bridge Specialty Group acquires the assets of Shoemaker & Besser

Brown & Brown’s Bridge Specialty Group has acquired the assets of Shoemaker & Besser Associates .

Founded in 1959, Shoemaker & Besser is a York, Pennsylvania-based MGA and wholesale brokerage providing independent agents with automated access to specialty personal lines and niche BOP products. The team will remain in York and report to Jason Haupt, regional president for Bridge Specialty Group’s Mid-Atlantic and Delta region.
