Allianz reaches 1 million auto insurance clients in the Czech Republic
Allianz Česká republika has passed one million retail auto insurance clients in the Czech Republic, marking a new milestone for the insurer and reinforcing its position as one of the country’s largest carriers.
The company attributes the growth to two product innovations: its mileage-based model “I drive less, I pay less,” used by more than three-quarters of customers, and dedicated coverage for electric vehicles. Allianz also continues to drive cross-sell through its Allianz PLUS program, which offers up to 21% in discounts when customers combine multiple policies.
The insurer entered the Czech market in 1993 and has since built a broad portfolio across auto, property, pension, and life. Allianz pojišťovna is a wholly owned subsidiary of Allianz New Europe Holding GmbH and part of Allianz SE.
