Aon launches insurance solution for private markets

Aon launched a new set of insurance-backed liquidity solutions to help private equity firms and investors access cash more easily when deals take longer to close or financing is tight.

Aon’s suite includes six insurance solutions—Secondaries R&W Insurance, LP Clawback Insurance, Fund Wind-Down Insurance, GP Stakes Insurance, Tax Insurance, and Contingent & Litigation Insurance. The offering uses insurance to speed up exits, reduce risk, and free up capital—covering areas like tax exposure, legal disputes, and fund wind-downs.
