Aon introduces D2C healthcare marketplace
Aon has introduced Access Choice, a healthcare marketplace designed to connect employees with services outside their traditional benefits programs. The platform is expected to launch in early 2027.
Initial offerings are expected to focus on weight management and GLP-1 therapies, personalized diagnostics and prevention, and women’s health.
According to Aon, clinical quality will be a key consideration in selecting the healthcare options available through the marketplace.
The strategy gives employers a way to address demand for additional healthcare services without redesigning or expanding their existing benefits programs. For Aon, it extends its role into helping employees navigate the growing market for direct-to-consumer care.
“Many employers are looking for ways to make new options for care and support available without fundamentally redesigning or expanding existing benefits programs. Access Choice creates another avenue to meet emerging workforce needs while navigating continued pressure on healthcare costs.” – Mike Pasterick, North America Health Solutions Leader at Aon.
Aon plans to continue developing and expanding the marketplace ahead of its launch.
