Zurich expands Exporter Solutions Platform

Zurich North America has expanded its Exporter Solutions Digital Platform (ESDP) to make it easier for middle market companies with limited international exposure to secure coverage.

Originally launched in 2022, the platform now accepts more than 400 SIC codes, covering industries such as life sciences (excluding clinical trials), aviation, architecture and engineering, and construction for travel exposures. Minimum premiums have been reduced, terms refined, and coverage periods extended to one, two, or three years. Submissions under $50,000 in gross written premium can now be quoted and bound faster through straight-through underwriting, with automated tasks streamlining the process. The updates aim to close gaps left by domestic policies for firms beginning to export or send employees overseas, while also easing the workload for brokers without dedicated international teams.
