Allianz Risk Transfer AG to relocate to Switzerland

Allianz Risk Transfer AG plans to move its domicile from Liechtenstein to Switzerland in 2026, pending regulatory approval. The Zurich/Wallisellen office will become its new head office, while the Bermuda branch will remain, and FINMA will assume regulatory oversight.

The move is aimed at streamlining ART AG’s European footprint, simplifying its corporate structure, and increasing proximity to Swiss and international clients. Allianz said there will be no changes for clients or brokers, with operations, contracts, and claims handling continuing as before. ART AG’s AA- rating from S&P is expected to remain unchanged.
