QBE Foundation backs climate resilience initiative in Asia

QBE Foundation has partnered with Humanity Insured to support climate-vulnerable communities in Asia, becoming the first insurance partner to join the initiative with a regional focus. Over two years, QBE will contribute SGD $875,000 (~GBP £500,000) to help smallholder farmers, coastal residents, informal workers, and displaced populations access affordable insurance and resilience tools.

In addition to premium grants and training, QBE Asia teams will collaborate on project development and technical support. The partnership aligns with QBE’s broader mission to promote financial inclusion and strengthen community preparedness through insurance-backed solutions.
