Gusto taps Elevate to power HSAs, FSAs, and commuter benefits

Gusto has partnered with Elevate to enhance its consumer-directed benefits offerings for over 400,000 small business customers. The integration adds health savings accounts (HSAs), flexible spending accounts (FSAs), and commuter benefits to Gusto’s platform, complementing its existing payroll, HR, and insurance services.

The two companies built a branded participant portal, automated onboarding and enrollment, and migrated existing accounts. Since launch, Gusto reported a 26% drop in customer questions, a 57% increase in NPS, and a 51% rise in customer satisfaction.

Elevate was selected for its automation, API-first infrastructure, flexible branding, and scalability.

The partnership reflects Gusto’s push to deliver a more comprehensive benefits experience to small businesses.

Separately, Lemonade submitted and received approval for a pet insurance rate/rule filing in Pennsylvania that updates group discount eligibility. The filing lists partners eligible for group-based discounts, including Gusto.
