Chase expands payroll offering powered by Gusto

Chase for Business has expanded Chase Payroll, powered by Gusto , to eligible Business Banking customers, allowing them to manage payroll alongside banking and payments through Chase Business Online.

The service lets business owners pay employees and contractors, track payment status, and automatically calculate and file payroll taxes. Eligible business checking customers can access next-day payroll processing.

The platform also offers onboarding with prefilled information, allows employees to enter their own tax and payment details, and connects with select integrations, including Everyday 401(k) by J.P. Morgan.

According to Chase research, 89% of business owners would value managing payroll within their banking and payments platform, while 37% said meeting payroll had put pressure on cash flow over the previous six months.

Chase Payroll joins the bank’s broader suite of business services, including Business Credit Journey, Customer Insights, and Invoicing.
