Lemonade withdraws North Carolina homeowners filing

Lemonade has requested to withdraw its previously approved homeowners forms in North Carolina, citing a shift in strategic direction. The withdrawn materials include proprietary documents such as declarations, applications, endorsements for pet damage and bed bugs, and notices related to credit-based underwriting.

The forms were originally submitted for a homeowners program that Lemonade ultimately decided not to implement. Instead, the company is moving forward with a new renters insurance program, which it is pursuing through a separate filing.
