Amica partners with Phyn
Phyn is partnering with Amica Insurance to help prevent water-related loss by offering its leak detection devices to Amica policyholders. Phyn’s technology protects plumbing systems, conserves water, and avoids unnecessary water loss.
Eligible Amica policyholders can get a 15% discount on Phyn products, from the DIY-installed Phyn Smart Water Assistant and Smart Water Sensor to the professionally installed Phyn Plus with a shutoff valve. They may also receive additional insurance premium discounts. Phyn’s app provides real-time leak alerts, pre-freeze warnings, abnormal water activity, and water consumption data. Phyn Plus offers remote auto shutoff, alerting homeowners to potential plumbing issues before they escalate, preventing water-related losses and enhancing home protection.
Phyn and Amica will offer the following smart water solutions to Amica policyholders:
- Phyn Plus: Installed on the main water line, it monitors water use, detects leaks accurately, and can automatically shut off water to prevent damage.
- Phyn Smart Water Assistant: DIY installation under a sink, it monitors the entire home’s water use, alerts to leaks, and provides detailed water usage insights.
- Phyn Smart Water Sensor: A small device that detects leaks early and alerts instantly. When used with Phyn Plus, it can automatically shut off water for added protection.
