Allianz partners with Abus

Allianz has partnered with helmet manufacturer Abus to introduce a new helmet protection offering in Germany.

A selection of Abus helmets will qualify for the coverage, with the manufacturer paying the insurance premiums on behalf of interested customers for one year. The coverage kicks in in instances that aren’t covered by the manufacturer’s warranty such as helmet damage caused by accidents.

Customers can activate coverage by entering their personal activation code (displayed on a tag attached to the helmet) on the Allianz website.

After the complimentary coverage period, Allianz will inform customers about the possibility to pay a premium for keeping the coverage active.
