UNIQA partners with Hervis Sports

Austrian insurer UNIQA has partnered with sporting goods retailer Hervis Sports to introduce a new e-bike insurance coverage.

The insurance includes coverage for theft, electrical damage, and wear and tear. Policyholders will also have access to a 24/7 mobility service that can assist in cases of breakdowns and accidents. Mobility services are handled by Assistance International GmbH, a subsidiary of UNIQA.

Customers in Austria can buy coverage via an app which can be accessed by scanning the QR code that is attached to the bike.

Hervis is one of the largest sports retailers in central Europe with over 240 locations across Austria, Southern Germany, Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia and Romania.
