WTW enhances UK employee benefits with Everest Funeral Concierge

WTW has partnered with Everest Funeral Concierge UK to offer funeral planning and bereavement advocacy services through its UK employee benefits brokerage business.

The partnership marks the first time Everest’s funeral concierge service has been distributed through a benefits broker in the UK. Employees and their families of WTW’s UK employee benefits clients will gain access to 24/7 telephone support for funeral planning, independent advocacy, cost comparisons, and practical guidance before and after a bereavement.

The offering also includes WillPrep support for will and power of attorney preparation, Everest’s “My Wishes” planning and funeral cost-comparison tool covering more than 8,000 funeral homes, and repatriation support in more than 240 languages.

Everest Chairman Mark Wood said the partnership delivers “a first-of-its-kind offering that supports grief, mental wellbeing and financial wellbeing.”

The service is available to employees and their families across three generations and is designed to complement existing employee assistance, mental wellbeing, and financial wellbeing programs.
