“Results are impacted by floods but I am getting annoyed by the commentary totally blaming the floods” – Axa CEO Paul Evans on those blaming losses on recent flooding. By those, think Jon Dye of Allianz who last week blamed ‘the weather’ for the company’s combined operating ratio (COR) of 102.6%. Bottom Line: Axa enjoys a 97.1% COR. Love a good fight.
