Westfield marks one year of smart fire prevention program

Westfield Insurance is celebrating one year of its smart fire prevention initiative, which uses Ting sensors to detect electrical hazards in homes and farms. Since launching in May 2024, the program has identified over 70 potential fire risks.

The insurer offers Ting at no cost to eligible policyholders, providing three years of monitoring and support for early issue detection and resolution. Following strong results and customer feedback, Westfield has expanded the program to include farmowners policies, reinforcing its focus on prevention and safety through tech-driven solutions.
