Walmart opens first-ever pet services center

Walmart announced the opening of the first-ever Walmart Pet Services center in Dallas, Georgia, located at 3615 Marietta Hwy.

Walmart Pet Services will offer “low, transparent pricing” for pet services within a dedicated storefront. Some of the services include veterinary care (vaccines, wellness exams and minor medical services), grooming, and a self-serve dog wash. All services will be provided by qualified veterinary and grooming professionals in collaboration with PetIQ, a pet health and wellness company.

Walmart currently offers in-store vet clinics on-site in over 65 stores across the country, owned and operated by PetIQ.

The Walmart Pet Services center in Dallas, Georgia will serve as a pilot with the goal of opening more locations in the future.
