Voya Investment Management, the asset management arm of Voya Financial , announced several leadership changes effective July 1, 2025, as part of its ongoing strategy to strengthen investment capabilities.

Eric Stein has been promoted to Chief Investment Officer, overseeing all asset classes including fixed income, equities, alternatives, and multi-asset strategies.

Jeff Hobbs will become CIO of Fixed Income, consolidating public and private fixed income under his leadership while continuing to manage insurance portfolios.

Chris Lyons (Private Fixed Income and Alternatives) and Vincent Costa (Equities) will retire by year-end 2025 and September 30, respectively.

James Lydotes, formerly Deputy CIO at Newton Investment Management, will join as CIO of Equities on September 2, 2025.
The changes reflect Voya’s efforts to transition leadership and build long-term growth under a unified investment structure.
