Volt Underwriting deploys Novee AI

London based MGA Volt Underwriting has partnered with insurtech Novee to deploy an AI intelligence layer across its Power and Renewables portfolio.

The platform is designed to help underwriters handle complex submissions that often include engineering surveys, loss reports, and large schedules of values. According to the companies, Novee’s technology can semi automatically cleanse schedules, structure exposure data, and extract insights from supporting documents so the information can be used directly in catastrophe and pricing models.

The collaboration aims to reduce manual work and improve underwriting efficiency by automating tasks such as schedule cleansing and data structuring. Volt’s underwriting team will also receive risk insights generated from engineering and loss data to support underwriting decisions.

Novee’s platform acts as an intelligence layer that integrates with existing underwriting workflows, enabling insurers and MGAs to structure complex submission data and generate insights without replacing core systems.
