Two insurers back Blitzy

Blitzy raised $200 million at a $1.4 billion valuation in a funding round led by Northzone, with participation from investors including Battery Ventures, PSG, and strategic backers Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures , Erie Strategic Ventures , and BAL Ventures.

Founded by 2023 by Brian Elliott and Sid Pardeshi, Blitzy develops autonomous software development tools for enterprises. Its platform can complete months of development work autonomously by reverse engineering enterprise codebases, building knowledge graphs, and coordinating thousands of AI agents in parallel.

Blitzy (a team of ~85) is used by Global 2000 companies across 10 industries, including insurance and financial services, and plans to use the funding to expand research, hiring, and partnerships in regulated sectors.
