Tune Protect and Ticket2U bring embedded event coverage to Indonesia

Tune Protect Re and ticketing platform Ticket2u have expanded their partnership into Indonesia, introducing Ticket Refund Protection and Sports Personal Accident coverage to eventgoers nationwide. The move builds on the companies’ rollout in Malaysia earlier this year and aligns with Tune Protect’s strategy to grow simple, embedded protection across Southeast Asia.

The integration brings opt-in protection directly into Ticket2U’s checkout flow, offering refunds when customers cannot attend an event due to illness, accidents, natural disasters or other disruptions. Sports PA, offered as an add-on, provides accident coverage for participants in sports events and is the first product of its kind in Indonesia’s event ecosystem.

The launch comes as interest in concerts and live events continues to rise, particularly among Millennials and Gen Z. By embedding insurance at the point of purchase, Tune Protect and Ticket2U aim to give attendees and travelers greater confidence in planning and participating. The partnership is expected to expand to additional Southeast Asian markets as both companies continue building digital-first insurance experiences for entertainment and lifestyle consumers.
