The Standard promotes Marjan Berg to second VP and actuary

The Standard has promoted Marjan Berg to second vice president and actuary, Asset Liability Management and Capital Analytics.

Berg will lead interest rate and liquidity risk management, hedging, and economic capital strategy for The Standard’s core products. She previously served as senior director and actuary in the same division.

Before joining The Standard, Berg was an investment consultant at Willis Towers Watson and managed a global endowment portfolio for the Baha’i World Center. She holds degrees from the University of Cape Town and the University of Zurich and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
