Tesla Insurance is live in Florida

Tesla Insurance is now available in 13 states with the recent addition of Florida.

It has been more than three years since Tesla rolled out its insurance offering to a new state.

Tesla currently offers coverage using its three licensed carriers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Virginia.

For the first nine months of the year, the three carriers generated $747 million in written premiums.
