Tesla files new auto insurance program in Washington
Tesla General Insurance has submitted a new private auto insurance program in Washington.
The proposed effective date is September 1, 2026.
The program will have two safety scores – Safety Score and Safety Score with full self-driving (supervised).
Tesla is currently offering coverage in 15 states.
