Summit names Chris Neyrey VP of Southwest region

Summit has appointed Chris Neyrey as Vice President of its Southwest Region, succeeding Hank Chiles, who will retire in July after 36 years with the company.

Neyrey joined Summit in 2006 as a regional sales manager and was promoted to assistant vice president of sales in 2014. After a brief departure, he returned in 2019 and most recently served as assistant vice president of underwriting.

Based in Lakeland, Florida, Summit is a regional workers’ compensation provider and a member of Great American Insurance Group, a subsidiary of American Financial Group. The company manages operations for six workers’ compensation insurers and serves businesses across multiple Southern and Midwestern states.
