State Farm introduces Included Health as a benefit
40 percent of the LGBTQ+ community has had a negative experience in finding a healthcare provider, resulting in greater care avoidance. That’s 2 to 3 times greater than the general population.
To help State Farm employees, agents, and their families navigate this issue and more, Included Health has been added to the Total Rewards Benefits package. This service is the first LGBTQ+ comprehensive health service, providing concierge assistance for physical health, mental health, general education, and inclusion support.
Included Health was piloted last spring with the insurer’s Pride Employee Resource Group (ERG) members and is now available for all employees and their household members as part of their Total Rewards package, and for all agents and dependents currently on a State Farm medical plan.
The news follows the acquisition of Included Health by healthcare company Grand Rounds Health .
