Snoop partners with GoCompare
London-based fintech startup Snoop, which recently joined the fintech craze, is partnering with financial services comparison site GoCompare . As part of the partnership, Snoop customers will be able to switch their car and home insurance providers using GoCompare’s comparison service.
Since launching in April 2020, Snoop’s app has been downloaded almost 150,000 times.
Last year, GoCompare’s competitors also entered the fintech space. MoneySuperMarket announced a partnership with Yolt around energy comparison and Compare The Market acquired Bean, a UK-based money management app.
“The UK market for home and motor insurance is huge and one we believe we can help transform alongside GoCompare. Snoop’s ability to provide personalized and proactive savings opportunities at exactly the right time can save our customers hundreds of pounds. Ghosting into expensive renewals may become a thing of the past as a result of the FCAs timely proposals to tackle price-walking, but the truth is Snoop will still need to help consumers in the fight against rip off tactics and opaque pricing. Shopping around for the best deal and most appropriate cover at the right time will remain essential for consumers.” – John Natalizia, Snoop CEO.
“As businesses, we have a lot in common with Snoop and share values. GoCompare has been helping people across the UK to save on household bills since 2006, and we’ve helped millions of people save millions of pounds in that time, but we are always looking at new ways we can help more customers. Combining our technology and expertise with Snoop’s data-driven insights to unlock savings at exactly the right time for an individual’s circumstances and wallet is an exciting prospect.” – Lee Griffin, CEO and founder of GoCompare.
