Skyward Specialty taps Corey LaFlamme as president of Captives & Specialty Programs

Skyward Specialty has appointed Corey LaFlamme as President, Captives & Specialty Programs, signaling a strategic investment in one of the company’s fastest-growing segments. LaFlamme joins from The Hartford, where he led the Programs division, and brings over two decades of experience in specialty insurance, known for his strength in relationship-building and underwriting discipline.

In parallel, Kirby Hill, who helped build Skyward Specialty’s presence in the captives and programs space, will transition to Chairman of the division. He will focus on business development, strategic accounts, and mentorship as the company aims to scale further in this high-potential market.
