Skyward Group names Apollo CFO as successor

Skyward Group CFO Mark Haushill will retire on March 31, 2027, after more than a decade with the specialty insurer. He will remain a senior advisor through year-end.

Taryn McHarg, Apollo’s CFO and Skyward Group’s deputy CFO, will succeed him. McHarg has led Apollo’s finance function for more than four years and previously held senior finance roles at Bupa and Ernst & Young.

Skyward Specialty acquired UK specialty insurer Apollo in January 2026.
