ShipStation launches new insurance offering

Ecommerce shipping solution ShipStation is now offering merchants in the US a new shipment protection offering from ParcelGuard.

The new offering includes coverage for lost, stolen, and damaged packages, and merchants can pay for protection using their ShipStation balance. Merchants can also file a claim using the ShipStation app.

The offering is powered by Assurant companies with coverage underwritten by American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida and claims administered by Shipsurance.

In 2019, Cover Genius partnered with ShipStation to provide coverage for merchants in the UK, Canada and Australia.
