Sentry becomes title sponsor of PGA TOUR event

Sentry Insurance will become the title sponsor of the PGA TOUR event at Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego beginning in 2027, with the tournament renamed “The Sentry.”

The event is scheduled to take place Jan. 25–30, 2027, and will mark the 60th time the tournament is played at Torrey Pines. The competition will air across CBS, Paramount+, Golf Channel, ESPN+, SiriusXM, and PGA TOUR World Feed platforms.

The tournament is organized by the Century Club of San Diego, whose Champions for Youth program supports at-risk and underserved communities in the region.

The sponsorship expands Sentry’s involvement in golf and community engagement initiatives. The insurer has previously served as title sponsor of the PGA TOUR’s season-opening event in Hawaii.
