Reciprocals managed by Kin publish third quarter results

Kin Interinsurance Network and Kin Interinsurance Nexus Exchange, the reciprocals managed by Kin Insurance, published their financial results for the third quarter of the year.

Kin Interinsurance Network, which primarily writes in Florida, reported $392 million in written premiums for the first nine months, a 15% increase compared to the same period last year. The reciprocal had a net underwriting loss of $26 million for the first nine months, a 31% decrease compared to the same period last year. The reciprocal requires a 10% surplus contribution from subscribers and as of September 30, 2025, subscribers contributed ~$38 million.

Kin Interinsurance Nexus Exchange, which was active in AL, AZ, CO, GA, MS, MO, SC, TN, TX, and VA, reported $83 million in written premiums for the first nine months, compared to $45 million for the same period last year. Net underwriting loss stood at $13 million for the first nine month, compared to $9 million for the same period last year. Subscribers contributed $8 million as of September 30, 2025.
