Plymouth Rock adds three executives

Plymouth Rock  appointed three executives to leadership roles spanning data, claims and customer service.

Gavin McPhail joins as vice president and chief data officer, responsible for the insurer’s enterprise data strategy and its use of analytics, automation and AI across underwriting, claims, risk management and customer operations. He previously served as executive vice president and general manager of Risk Intelligence at Fusable.

Cornelius Young was named vice president and chief claims officer for Plymouth Rock’s Independent Agency Group. He will lead the group’s claims organization and expand the use of data, analytics and AI across the claims process. Young previously served as chief insurance officer at Cambridge Mobile Telematics and spent more than 13 years at Liberty Mutual.

Lindsay Mustard joins as vice president of customer service for the Independent Agency Group. She will oversee customer service, underwriting, agency and sales operations, compliance, project management and customer experience. Mustard most recently held strategy and product engagement leadership roles at Jenius Bank and previously worked at Citizens Bank and Boston Consulting Group.
