Philadelphia Insurance Companies announces executive promotions

Philadelphia Insurance Companies has promoted eight executives across underwriting and insurance operations, including a new Chief Transformation Officer, three Deputy Chief Underwriting Officers, and four Senior Vice Presidents.

• Brent Skiles was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer, Insurance Operations, after serving as SVP of Insurance Operations. Skiles, who has been with the company for 15 years, will lead enterprise transformation initiatives focused on underwriting effectiveness, operational efficiency, and ease of doing business.
• Kimberly Hamilton was promoted to Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer. A PHLY veteran since 2003, Hamilton will expand her responsibilities to oversee the Human Services Division alongside her underwriting leadership role.
• George Schalick was promoted to Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer. He will continue leading Management and Professional Liability while also taking oversight of the Excess and Surplus Lines Division.
• Patrick Walton was promoted to Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer from Corporate Underwriting. Walton oversees reinsurance placement, underwriting initiatives, catastrophe aggregates, pricing tools, and peril-specific guidelines.
• Jason Copus was promoted to Senior Vice President of Business Transformation, Insurance Operations. Formerly VP of Data Strategy and Automation, Copus will continue advancing PHLY’s data strategy and oversee business transformation initiatives, including artificial intelligence implementation.
• Brian Himmer was promoted to Senior Vice President, Underwriting. He will continue leading Commercial Lines Underwriting for the Northeast Territory while supporting broader underwriting strategy across the region.
• Danielle Panzarino was promoted to Senior Vice President, Underwriting, with expanded responsibility for the Western Territory Commercial Lines team.
• Michael Sisk was promoted to Senior Vice President, Underwriting, and will serve as Division Head of Management and Professional Liability Underwriting.
