Pano AI raises $44 million

Pano AI raised $44 million in Series B funding to expand its AI-powered wildfire detection infrastructure. The round was led by Giant Ventures with participation from Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures , Tokio Marine Future Fund , and existing investors including Congruent Ventures and Salesforce Ventures. Total funding now stands at $89 million.

Founded in 2020, Pano provides real-time smoke detection and situational awareness tools to over 250 emergency agencies and 15 U.S. utilities. Its system covers nearly 30 million acres and has helped contain fires like the Bear Creek Fire in Colorado before they could spread. The company’s clients include Portland General Electric, Arizona Public Service, and Xcel Energy.
