Owen partners with Assurant

Owen, a Paris-based company offering an embedded insurance solution for fintechs, has partnered with Assurant.

As part of the partnership, Owen and Assurant will bring travel insurance and fraud protection to embedded banking platform Swan (Financial software), which will be able to offer the products to its partners. Swan enables B2B Softwares to integrate banking features — accounts, cards and payments — directly into their products. The platform processes approximately €2 billion in monthly transactions, operates across 30 European countries, and serves 150+ companies including Pennylane, Indy, Agicap and Lucca.

Under the arrangement, Assurant will act as the risk carrier for the insurance component, with Owen serving as broker and third-party administrator, and Allianz providing assistance services.
